Golf anyone???

Hello my crafty friends,

For the last of her (birthday) cards, she asked for "golf".  So this is what I came up with - several "golf islands" to get your hole in 1.  Okay I know those sand traps are not really "golf islands", but they look like little islands without palm trees. LOL

All of the golf balls are popped up for dimension.

Owl birthday Wishes

Hello my crafty friends,

Next she wanted a couple of owl birthday cards...so here they are! Aren't they just the cutest owls you've ever seen!?

I made their balloons to match them.  Notice each has s different wing shape? No 2 owls alike. He He  The balloons are popped up for dimension.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

3-flowers

Hello my crafty friends,

I then did this image for her that has 3 flowers and added some gem stones. One for a pink lover and one for a blue lover. Don't you just love blue flowers?

Come back soon...more to come.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Scrumptious cupcakes

Hello my crafty friends,

What a great card weekend! I finished up the (birthday) cards for commission lady #1.  She wanted 10 birthday cards so I did 2 of 5 different designs but each of the 2 were slightly different.

She wanted 2 different cupcake designs. This is what I came up with for them. The layer with the platter with the 6 cupcakes is popped up for dimension.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Bully (Bullmastiff) Thank You

Hello my crafty friends,

I needed to make someone a thank you card. Decided since she did some very special things/helpful for my girls, I would use their image.

But my question is: why do I always have trouble coming up with dog theme cards? Hmmmm and their poor face, I can never seem to get that right. SIGH

I popped up the dog image and the frame behind it and left the inside blank for my note.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Peaceful Thank You

Hello my crafty friends,

I did the last 4 thank you cards for the second lady who had commissioned me at my church this past weekend.  The first 2 are both exactly the same except for different colors and direction of the card. The dimension on these cards are the layers in the center with the flowers (just the bottom layer is popped up). The only thing I added to the insides are the corner pieces to match the front.

On the last 2 thank you cards, I decided to make them masculine. The difference between the two are: one opens from the bottom up and the other from right to left; one light house is grey and the other is black.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Thank you birdies

Hello my crafty friends,

I did 2 more thank you cards for the second lady at my church. I'll post the last 4 thank you cards together once they're done.

These 2 cards only has 1 dimension on them - the bird's wing.  I love these colors together! What do you think?

Thanks for looking!

Who says fish can't be in love!?

Hello my crafty friends,

I needed to make an anniversary card last night. The lady from church who asked that I make her birthday and anniversary cards, it's her and her husband's anniversary tomorrow - 44 years!

It turned out so cute! What do you think?

There is lots of dimension for this card: the layer with the hearts is a separate layer and popped up from the base of the card and the hearts are raised by  dry embossing. The fish are also popped up for dimension. Aren't they just the cutest fish you've ever seen!?

Sorry :(  I still need to take the pictures of the cards I did for my upcoming show that I'd done over the weekend.

Thanks for looking!

"Elegant" Thank You

Oops! Cyberspace wouldn't let me send all the pictures at once so here are the others that were mentioned in my last post.

Thanks for looking!

Tulips & "Elegant" thank you

Hello my crafty friends,

Yes more tulips and "elegant" cards! Guess those were a BIG hit!  LOL  Commissioner #2 wanted some thank you cards (10 be exact! LOL). I have 4 done so far.

The flowers on each are popped up for dimension.

Come back soon...still more to show you!!! But must take those pictures first.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

"Elegant" Anniversay

Hello my crafty friends,

As you can see, these next 2 cards are similar to one in the last post. Although each one has a slightly different layout from the next and their sentiments on the insides are all different.  One complete category for her is finished (anniversary  - the birthdays  will be soon ).  Check out my next post. I started one of the categories for the other lady at my church (commissioner #2).

(Both of the ladies from my church had seen some card samples I had done and had picked what they wanted from there. I've just been changing the layouts especially since they either want more than one of the design or it's a design that they both want! That way they're still each different. )

Come back soon...still lots more to show you!!!

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

"Elegant" & Tulips

Hello my crafty friends,

Another successful and fun-filled weekend in paper crafting! YAY!

Last week was a good week for me - business wise: I was commissioned by 2 people to make them a handful of cards on top of signing up for my first craft show! The 2 ladies who commissioned me (both are from church) weren't in a big hurry for them "when you can with your upcoming show and all". The show is in 2 months! So needless to say, I have a lot to do! I was able to do some cards for all 3 this weekend. YAY!

Commission #1: she wanted anniversary (5) and birthday (10) cards. I did her 5 anniversary cards. The first had 3 tulips that are popped up for dimension. I'm sorry :( but one of the tulip cards were accidentally deleted but is similar but has different sentiment inside and instead of "love" it says. "celebrate" on the front.

The next has a nice velvet feel to a portion of the tan and black background paper. All 3 flowers are popped up for dimension on this card.

Come back soon...lots more to show you!!!

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday ... folder

Ha you're getting 3-for-1 deal here! LOL

The last project I did over last weekend wasn't a card but the second of the 3 card holders (folder) for that set of cards for the upcoming birthday gift. One more folder to do! YAY!

I added the double corners for the 8 corners plus a "cherry" on top of the cupcake. The cupcake is popped up for dimension.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Thank you ... and you ... and you!

Good evening my crafty friends,

The next set of cards I decided to do the same technique as the last set of cards but these had a different image from the first set and with this second set the only thing I changed in these from the next one is the color.

Decided also to not add embellishments to them this time. Left them on a little of the plain side.

Hope you still like. Thanks for looking and Happy Crafting!

Happy Birthday to you and you ... and you!

Hello my crafty friends,

Another successful and fun-filled weekend! YAY!

I needed to make a few cards as a thank you gift as a lady from church had given me some of her time so I can discuss with her my business. I made my gift cards into birthday cards for her to use for her family and friends.  There is always someone's birthday! Right ?

I kept the main focal image on each the same but changed the color schemes, sentiments and embellishments for each.

The blue card says: happy birthday wishes. The red card says: wish big/baby. And the purple card reads: wishing you the best today and always!
