Thank You!!

Here are my thank you cards for my first orders. They're a cute 3x3 and  were just as quick and easy to make! A punch here...a stamp here...add a little distressing...another punch then attach all! Then poof! Done!! Aren't they cute?

The "thank you" is raised for dimension.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

My dear friend...HUGS

I was asked to make a condolence card for one of my dear friends who recently passed away. This card will be passed around for several people to sign and then be given to my friends sister.

My goal was to make something elegant and hopefully something she would have liked. I think she would've liked this one. What do you think?

On the card base, there is a script talking about our God. On the top layer, I used an embossing folder for that deep impression of roses and is raised for dimension.  To add just a hint of color, I added a sheer pink ribbon with a double flower on the one end. I chose the color pink as she often wore a particular pale pink blouse and it always made her face just glow - pink looked so good on her. On the bottom left corner it says: Praying for you

The inside was made simple but with 3 pearls and a touch of pink (gem stone) so it would resemble the front in some way.
It reads:
(left) With Sympathy
(right) May the love of God grant you peace, the love of friends bring you comfort, and the love of your dear one live forever in your heart.

You will be missed by everyone, my friend. With love and hugs.

Flowered Friends

I am now involved in a (frequent) swap. This is where card makers swap cards with one another - usually with a chosen theme. These swaps are a little different than what I've done in the past - these are just card fronts and not a real card just the front of the card. I needed to do 25. I made 28 for a couple extras and those I can turn into actual cards. There are 16 in the purple and 12 in the green.

The "F/Friends", phrase in the middle and flowers on the bottom corners are raised for dimension. I added a watermark of flowers for the background. I added some Crystal Effects to the yellow to add some glossy shine to them. I also distressed the scallop, phrase (Life Happens. Love Helps.) and all around the cards to give it the "perfect finishing touch".

"STOP"

This is another set of ATC and was for the month of (last) November. The theme was: About You.

They looked so happy...SIGH till the "stop" happened.

Candy

I'm wayyyyy behind on my ATCs (Artist Trading Cards). This set of cards were from last October and the theme was "Candy".

The 2 different types of candy canes were raised for dimension. I also added sparkling glitter to all of the candies.

Love Puppies

I needed to make a sympathy card for a family who recently lost their Charlie after 14 years. That's a long time to know someone and what a blessing it was - for both.

I raised the scallop on front for dimension.
