Snow People

Hello My Crafty Friends,

While out shopping last weekend, I came across these really adorable snowmen. Immediately I thought it would be perfect for a winter anniversary or wedding. And wouldn't you know it...I needed to make 2 anniversary cards! Perfect!!!

I popped up the snowmen couple and added some sparkling "snow" on the ball of their hats and underneath of them.

Aren't they just adorable?!

Paper Ball Ornament

Hello My Crafty Friends,

I came across someone on Utube (sorry :( don't remember her name)  who made a Paper Ball Ornament and I really wanted to try this!

So here is my first one. I don't think it's too bad, for my first one;  I kind of like it. So I have other ideas of this I want to do. Won't I have fun this weekend?!

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

A Blue Dotted Christmas

Hello my crafty friends,

As promised, here is the same image that was done in the purple and wine berry now in blue.

Which is your favorite?

For some reason, my preference is: purple, and a tie between the blue and the wine berry.

A Wineberry Christmas

Hello my crafty friends,

If you remember, I had done this image in purple and was going to try different color combinations. Here is the same image in a wine berry color. I'm going to do one more but that one will be in blue. Check back soon and let me know which is your favorite.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Winter Moonlight

Hello my crafty friends,

This next is a card that I did...just because. I was just going to try  doing the moonlight technique and take it from there with no card design in mind.  After I did the technique, I just kept going and this is what I came up with. I think it turned out pretty good for my first moonlight image. What do you think??

Birthday Doilies

Hello my crafty friends,

This next set of cards were for another lady who attended one of my recent shows. This time I did birthday cards for her. I really like how these turned out...I might just do a few more and add them in a Christmas gift set I have for someone.

Which is your favorite color? Purple; Red; Yellow; Black & White

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

A purple Christmas

Hello my crafty friends,

I did a few Christmas cards for someone else who attended one of my recent shows.  This time I made them in purple and ivory. I added Dazzling Diamonds to the star to make it sparkle.

I think I'll do more of this design in another color or two to add to my stash.  You'll have to check back then let me know your favorite color.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Snowy Christmas Cottage

Hello my crafty friends,

I did a few Christmas cards for someone who attended one of my recent shows.  One of my friends liked them so much that she requested that the Christmas card I send to her would be just like them but dark so hers is in black! Hope she likes it?!!

I ended up doing several of this style but changed some with the cottage in a different position on the front, some had trees as the background, and some had snowflakes. No matter the design, they all had their dimension: the cottage was popped up and there was lots of sparklies on the trees and/or snowflakes.

Which is your favorite?

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

A Sparkling Christmas

Hello my crafty friends,

A friend asked if I'd make her Christmas cards for her this year. Of course I said YES! :)

She was very specific in what she wanted: black and white and trees but not too many; plus a couple of other minor specifics including  wanting 15 and all the same.

For dimension on these cards, the trees are popped up and I added lots of sparklies (Dazzling Diamonds - sigh they don't show up very well on camera) to the trees and snowflakes in the background.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Birthday Flowers

Hello my crafty friends,

I made a lady who came to one of my recent shows a set of 4 birthday cards. They were mostly the same except for the position of the flower, the flower image itself and they were done in 4 different colors.

There is a lot of dimension to these cards: the large flowers on the front are popped up and I also added some sparklies and gem stones to the front and inside.

What color is your favorite?

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Assorted Christmas cards gift set

Hello my crafty friends,

This past weekend I finished the cards for the silent auction that donated cards for.  I did 15 cards and put them all in a nice gift basket.

On this first card, both the tree and Merry Christmas are popped up for dimension. There are 3 of these.

In this next card, the whole tan panel is popped up for dimension. There are 3 of these.

On the set of 6 thank you cards the words are popped up for dimension. Three of the cards, the corners were rounded and the other three were left square.

I love snowflakes! This was fun to put together! There are 3 of this design and the center larger snowflake is popped up for dimension. Each has a bling or a sparkle to them. The 3 larger snowflakes have a "diamond" gem stone and the smaller ones have sparklies in them.

Here is the basket with all 15 cards in it ready to hand over. Someone will have a head start on their Christmas cards!

Are you ready for Christmas?

Hello my crafty friends,

This past weekend I finished the cards for 2 different raffles. Next on the agenda is to get things ready for a Silent Auction I'm participating in.

Here are the last of the raffle cards that we're done over the weekend:

The 2 cards with the candy canes, the top candy canes and the top layer were popped up for dimension and Dazzling Diamonds was also added to the candy canes for some sparkle. The card with the Christmas tree, the tree and top layer were popped up for dimension.  And on the ginger bread card, the 3 ginger bread men were popped for dimension.

German Shepard packaging

Hello my crafty friends,

This is the folder that I put the German Shepard card set in and the packaging I used to put everything in.

The main image on the front and back were popped up for dimension.

German Shepards going home

Hello my crafty friends,

Please excuse my absence. I signed up for my very first craft show and it's in less than 2 weeks! Needless to say I have been busy preparing for it. I'm soooo excited!

In the midst of preparing for my first show, I wanted to a make a gift set for someone who was having a special day. So I came up with German Shepard cards. I knew she would just love them. And she did - all 6 of them!

The German Shepard image on each were popped up for dimension. The paw prints are actually punched so that the black shows through.

The inside reads: There is nothing better than to end a bad day in dog slobber"

Cards full of texture

Hello my crafty friends,

The next 5 cards I did last weekend. I came across a new technique and just had to try it out! The first 4 are with the same technique but different and the top white layer is popped up for dimension.  On the last card, the sentiment on the front is popped up for dimension.

The insides were left blank.
