A mixed variety of different occasioned cards

Oops! I wasn't able to download the Portfolio and cards all at once.

Hope you like and thank you for looking.

Portfolio

Last night was a BLAST! I met some WONDERFUL ladies who all like to make cards also, was able to create some new cards with products that I don't have and in the end, just HAD to get! LOL

First, is a Portfolio to hold my new cards in: quick, easy and fun to make!

Next are the 4 cards I made to go into the Portfolio. On each card, the flowers are raised and sometimes the top 2 layers are raised for dimension! On the first and last card, the square background layer is also raised.

I left the insides blank so that something can be added as they're needed.

Circles and more circles

This birthday card was quick and easy - once I figured out what I wanted to do LOL - and yet it's full of birthday wishes for a very good friend.

The circle under the Happy Birthday is popped for outside dimension and the edges we're distressed a bit.

The inside: the smaller circle is popped for inside dimension and the sentiment reads: May the simple joys of life be yours!"

You crack me up

Isn't she cute?! This was made for a very special couple - he has a sense of humor and she'll think she's cute (she has a sense of humor too, but she'll definitely think she's cute! LOL).

The front reads: you crack me up" and is raised for a little dimension.

The inside reads: "Happy Easter"

This was an easy yet fun card to make.

Hoppy Easter

Isn't this just adorable! The "Hoppy Easter" is raised and the basket is left dangling from the "loop" under the the letter "e" in Easter for dimension.

The inside was left blank so I can write my own message to the recipient. The picture doesn't show it very well, but the basket was also raised for dimension on the inside. The eggs are the same color as the base of the card to contrast with the basket. It looks much better in person.

Also the little egg on the front of the 2 baskets are raised for extra dimension with the baskets.

Gate Fold w/a Twist

I woke up way too early this morning so decided to see what I can create. I thought I'd to try something new and absolutely LOVE how it turned out!

This card is called: Gate Fold with a Twist and it was done in a medium shade of purple and ivory. The 2 side panels have an embossed pattern of circles for dimension. The flowers are sparkled...need some sort of bling! LOL

The inside reads: Rejoicing with you in the miracle of Easter.

Bunnies in grass

Okay I have to admit, I think this is my favorite so far. I used purple and ivory as the background and went from there. The sentiment and basket are raised for dimension along with the egg on the front of the basket.

The inside reads: May God's everlasting love bring you never-ending joy." The basket is also raised along with the egg on the front of the basket.

Purple tulips

This Easter card was done in purple and ivory. The picture doesn't show it very well, but I added some sparkle to the petals of the flowers. I also added purple gem stones all around the sentiment then raised it for even more dimension.

The inside reads: May God's everlasting love bring you never-ending joy."

The magic of chalk

For my next Easter card - I did a technique that always has a WOW! Impression - at least while it's coming through.

I used the VersaMark pad on the flowers then I used a cotton ball and dabbed it in chalk then onto the image. You don't see anything until after the chalk hits the image. Then you can't help but to say... WOW!

The sentiment - Christ is Risen - was raised to add additional dimension.
The inside reads: Rejoicing with you in the miracle of Easter."

Hoppy Easter

For my first Easter card this year, I decided to try something new in my card style. This card style is called: "An S Fold" or "Z Fold" - depending on which way the card will face when completed. This one happens to be the S Fold.  Once it was completed, I realized how EASY it was! I'm sure I'll be doing more of these in the future.
I hope you like it.

Happy Birthday

I came across this technique that I JUST had to try. Sometime later I realized that I've done this technique before, but this time it looked much, much better. Since it turned out so well, I decided to turn it into a birthday card for one of my good friends. I can definitely see me doing this technique again!

The frame with the "happy birthday" on it is raised for additional dimension.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, my friend!"
