Thank you owls!
I made this for one of my good friend's husband who was buying his wife some new stamps and he bought me some stamps too! It was such a sweet and thoughtful surprise! And of course I loved everything - I didn't already have any of them! :)
The inside reads: You shouldn't have but I'm glad you did!

Happy Birthday owls
Here are a couple of cards that are similar and yet different. I just love how us card makers have such options to make so many different cards with the same items to make them different in such ways.
On the first card with the fence, everything is slightly raised except for the background paper.
On the second card, I'm not sure about it...the leaves are just sitting there by themselves! LOL
The sentiment, owl and balloons are all slightly raised.

So Sorry
I needed a sympathy card but was still into my new owl punch. What do you think??
The owl and sentiment were slightly raised.
Inside reads: Keeping you close in thought and prayer.

Happy Birthday
I received my much wanted owl punch and I love it! So watch out for more owls coming up! They were all so much fun to make!
The owl and sentiment are slightly raised.

Happy Birthday
I needed to make some masculine birthday cards. I think this passes. What do you think?

Non-Traditional Christmas card
The top and bottom ornaments are raised. The middle ornament has a 3-D look with the middle portion crimped and also has a little gem stone on each side of the inside part of the ornament.
The inside reads: Christmas is love, with all the trimmings.

Non-Traditional Christmas card
The inside bottom says: May your home be warm with Christmas cheer, and peace abide throughout the year.

Thank You Gems!
The front says: Just had to write to say
As you might have noticed I like matching my envelopes to my cards in some form or another. So I did something different and embossed it! I think it turned out awesome! What do you think?

Happy Birthday!

They say: There is nothing better than to end a bad day in dog slobber

Merry Christmas
I have been absent much too long. My deepest apologies - my life, let's say, has suddenly taken a different turn in life. I'm still trying to sort through things but I will try and get caught up here a little.
Here is a card I did for a Christmas swap. I really had fun with this one! Made extra for myself. With the way my life has changed and all the upcoming changes still to come, it's a good thing I've made extras for myself from the different swaps. I'll definitely have all my Christmas cards done when it will actually be time to send them out.

ATC (Sports)
This was my ATC submission for last December - "Sports". I popped the golf ball for a 3-D look.

ATC (Red)
This was my ATC submission for last October. The theme was "Red". As soon as I know the theme, I knew what I wanted to do...RED HAIR! I looked everywhere for red hair. No one had any, but I was still determined - one way or another to do my red hair idea. What finally worked was DH's "expensive" red spray paint! Wasn't it sweet of him to volunteer it?

Too Wild??
I think my wild side was coming out on this one! LOL
The background paper was sitting on my work station and I just had the urge to use it. I knew I had the ribbon and the colors were there. Before things were totally put together, I was looking at it and thought: well I want to use it...I'll call it "My Wild Side". What do you think?

Sunflower, Happy Birthday
This sunflower birthday card was made for one of my good friends. Two of her favorite things are: sunflowers and the color - lime green. She was so happy to see two of her favorite things and exactly what she was asking for on her birthday card! She loved it!
The middle of the sunflower is fuzzy as in the real thing. The leaves and sunflowers are also raised.

Thinking of you
Here's a sweet thinking of you card for your sweet friends.
I made this while visiting a very good friend. We visited one of her friends who has a shop that's attached to the front of her house. Such a nice lady and to have such great toys to play with while shopping! Does it get any better than that...play and shop all at the same time???

Thank you
What can I say but...isn't DSP (Designer Series Paper) just FAB? They're such a help with all the different styles, patterns and textures that are available for creating our cards and with it, its the perfect addition to help bring everything together.

Pup Sympathy
Its a little hard to see as I made the dog black as Dixie was a black mutt. I made the nose the "crusty slick" nose that they sometimes have. The eyes are green.
