A Blue Dotted Christmas

Hello my crafty friends,

As promised, here is the same image that was done in the purple and wine berry now in blue.

Which is your favorite?

For some reason, my preference is: purple, and a tie between the blue and the wine berry.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

A Wineberry Christmas

Hello my crafty friends,

If you remember, I had done this image in purple and was going to try different color combinations. Here is the same image in a wine berry color. I'm going to do one more but that one will be in blue. Check back soon and let me know which is your favorite.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

A purple Christmas

Hello my crafty friends,

I did a few Christmas cards for someone else who attended one of my recent shows.  This time I made them in purple and ivory. I added Dazzling Diamonds to the star to make it sparkle.

I think I'll do more of this design in another color or two to add to my stash.  You'll have to check back then let me know your favorite color.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

A Sparkling Christmas

Hello my crafty friends,

A friend asked if I'd make her Christmas cards for her this year. Of course I said YES! :)

She was very specific in what she wanted: black and white and trees but not too many; plus a couple of other minor specifics including  wanting 15 and all the same.

For dimension on these cards, the trees are popped up and I added lots of sparklies (Dazzling Diamonds - sigh they don't show up very well on camera) to the trees and snowflakes in the background.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Assorted Christmas cards gift set

Hello my crafty friends,

This past weekend I finished the cards for the silent auction that donated cards for.  I did 15 cards and put them all in a nice gift basket.

On this first card, both the tree and Merry Christmas are popped up for dimension. There are 3 of these.

In this next card, the whole tan panel is popped up for dimension. There are 3 of these.

On the set of 6 thank you cards the words are popped up for dimension. Three of the cards, the corners were rounded and the other three were left square.

I love snowflakes! This was fun to put together! There are 3 of this design and the center larger snowflake is popped up for dimension. Each has a bling or a sparkle to them. The 3 larger snowflakes have a "diamond" gem stone and the smaller ones have sparklies in them.

Here is the basket with all 15 cards in it ready to hand over. Someone will have a head start on their Christmas cards!

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Are you ready for Christmas?

Hello my crafty friends,

This past weekend I finished the cards for 2 different raffles. Next on the agenda is to get things ready for a Silent Auction I'm participating in.

Here are the last of the raffle cards that we're done over the weekend:

The 2 cards with the candy canes, the top candy canes and the top layer were popped up for dimension and Dazzling Diamonds was also added to the candy canes for some sparkle. The card with the Christmas tree, the tree and top layer were popped up for dimension.  And on the ginger bread card, the 3 ginger bread men were popped for dimension.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

New Address card

I am very HAPPY to say I'm back and ready to create till I drop!! My NEW Studio is completed and is better than ever!!

What better as my first project than...My New Address cards! I thought the colors and theme was a perfect idea since I moved just before Christmas. Whatcha think?

I'm not so sure if you can see from the picture but I added some "Sparkling Diamonds" glitter to add some sparkle (AKA snow) under the row of houses and all around the top. On the inside, I popped the green under the "I"-ball for a little added dimension.

Non-Traditional Christmas card

This is my second of two for my holiday card - pink and black theme - swap.

The top and bottom ornaments are raised. The middle ornament has a 3-D look with the middle portion crimped and also has a little gem stone on each side of the inside part of the ornament.

The inside reads: Christmas is love, with all the trimmings.

Non-Traditional Christmas card

The next 2 posts are for a Christmas swap I'm in. The theme for this month is Pink and Black and the requirement is 2 cards. The hostess thought this would challenge us. It did...at first. Once I had my idea it was smooth sailing till they were both completed. Even though I thought the color scheme was a little off for Christmas I have go admit, I really like how these turned out. I hope you like them too!

The inside bottom says: May your home be warm with Christmas cheer, and peace abide throughout the year.

Merry Christmas

Hello friends,

I have been absent much too long. My deepest apologies - my life, let's say, has suddenly taken a different turn in life. I'm still trying to sort through things but I will try and get caught up here a little.

Here is a card I did for a Christmas swap. I really had fun with this one! Made extra for myself. With the way my life has changed and all the upcoming changes still to come, it's a good thing I've made extras for myself from the different swaps. I'll definitely have all my Christmas cards done when it will actually be time to send them out.

Christmas scene

I did this card for a Christmas swap over the weekend, I've got 2 more started for myself. Just need to put them all together. Had a little trouble at the beginning, but once the issue was figured out it went smooth sailing. The sleigh and horse were raised for a more 3-D look.

The inside reads: Christmas Is Love, With All The Trimmings. (opposite side) Merry Christmas

Holiday Swap (2) "Stripes"

This is my second submission for my holiday swap. They can now go out in the mail tomorrow. Another month done. YAY!

I popped the top snowflake border and hung the embossed ornaments from it. I let the ornaments hang loosely for their true effect.

Holiday Swap (1) - "Stripes"

Last night while DH was still at work and all the DK were sleeping, I decided I was going to try and work on my next swap. The swap requirement is just 2 holiday cards and the theme is "stripes". Your 2 cards can be the same or different. Mine are different but similar.

For some reason no ideas were coming or any part of the design. Then all of a sudden it all clicked. I did 2 of this design. One will be for the swap and the other is for my stash of holiday cards.

The card opens from the side. I sponged around the Curly Label with the sentiment and the top half and sides in Old Olive. The sentiment is also popped. The DSP is actually all one one sheet - double sided - love how everything coordinates that way.

Hopefully I can do the other card tonight when all is quiet ... Then onto on another swap. LOL
