Golf anyone???

Hello my crafty friends,

For the last of her (birthday) cards, she asked for "golf".  So this is what I came up with - several "golf islands" to get your hole in 1.  Okay I know those sand traps are not really "golf islands", but they look like little islands without palm trees. LOL

All of the golf balls are popped up for dimension.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Owl birthday Wishes

Hello my crafty friends,

Next she wanted a couple of owl birthday cards...so here they are! Aren't they just the cutest owls you've ever seen!?

I made their balloons to match them.  Notice each has s different wing shape? No 2 owls alike. He He  The balloons are popped up for dimension.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

3-flowers

Hello my crafty friends,

I then did this image for her that has 3 flowers and added some gem stones. One for a pink lover and one for a blue lover. Don't you just love blue flowers?

Come back soon...more to come.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Scrumptious cupcakes

Hello my crafty friends,

What a great card weekend! I finished up the (birthday) cards for commission lady #1.  She wanted 10 birthday cards so I did 2 of 5 different designs but each of the 2 were slightly different.

She wanted 2 different cupcake designs. This is what I came up with for them. The layer with the platter with the 6 cupcakes is popped up for dimension.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday ... folder

Ha you're getting 3-for-1 deal here! LOL

The last project I did over last weekend wasn't a card but the second of the 3 card holders (folder) for that set of cards for the upcoming birthday gift. One more folder to do! YAY!

I added the double corners for the 8 corners plus a "cherry" on top of the cupcake. The cupcake is popped up for dimension.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday to you and you ... and you!

Hello my crafty friends,

Another successful and fun-filled weekend! YAY!

I needed to make a few cards as a thank you gift as a lady from church had given me some of her time so I can discuss with her my business. I made my gift cards into birthday cards for her to use for her family and friends.  There is always someone's birthday! Right ?

I kept the main focal image on each the same but changed the color schemes, sentiments and embellishments for each.

The blue card says: happy birthday wishes. The red card says: wish big/baby. And the purple card reads: wishing you the best today and always!

Wish Big birthday cards

Hello my crafty friends,

I wanted to make a couple of cards as a token of my appreciation. I decided to make them birthday cards. Everyone can always use birthday cards right??

The balloons - outside and inside - and the outside sentiment (wish big) are raised for dimension.

The inside of the blue card says: Happy Birthday (and underneath) Wishing you the best today and always!"

The inside of the green card says: May this birthday bring life's true gifts - good health, friendship, and love."

Stay tune...for the "thank you for your time" card is coming up shortly!

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

A big wish

Hello my crafty friends,

I bought this sunflower image at a flea market about a month ago and wanted to do something with it.  This is what I came up with. I think it turned our pretty good. What do you think?

The sunflower image and the sentiment are raised for dimension.

I have a friend who likes sunflowers and lime green. With the touch of lime green, I think it'll be the perfect birthday card for her next month. YAY!

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Pick your flavor of cupcakes!

Hello my friends.

My apologies I haven't been here in awhile. Been working on projects - one being an inventory of the different products I have and exactly what is in each category. Boy is it a HUGE project. I am half-way through it. WHEW! Plus a few house projects too.

This weekend I completed 2 more sets in that gift package I'm giving as a birthday gift in a couple of months. I made 4 thank you cards that are red and white with hearts and a red and white polka dot ribbon. Sorry I can't show you these right now as I put her initials on them and I don't want to spoil her surprise. :)

I then made 4 Birthday cards. Each cupcake frosting is a different "flavor": pink, blue, yellow and purple. SIGH the purple looks blue on camera.

I'll then be making a box for each set to go in.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Circles and more circles

This birthday card was quick and easy - once I figured out what I wanted to do LOL - and yet it's full of birthday wishes for a very good friend.

The circle under the Happy Birthday is popped for outside dimension and the edges we're distressed a bit.

The inside: the smaller circle is popped for inside dimension and the sentiment reads: May the simple joys of life be yours!"

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday

I came across this technique that I JUST had to try. Sometime later I realized that I've done this technique before, but this time it looked much, much better. Since it turned out so well, I decided to turn it into a birthday card for one of my good friends. I can definitely see me doing this technique again!

The frame with the "happy birthday" on it is raised for additional dimension.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, my friend!"

Happy Birthday owls

Catch-up cards.

Here are a couple of cards that are similar and yet different. I just love how us card makers have such options to make so many different cards with the same items to make them different in such ways.

On the first card with the fence, everything is slightly raised except for the background paper.

On the second card, I'm not sure about it...the leaves are just sitting there by themselves! LOL
The sentiment, owl and balloons are all slightly raised.

Happy Birthday

Catch-up card.

I received my much wanted owl punch and I love it! So watch out for more owls coming up! They were all so much fun to make!

The owl and sentiment are slightly raised.

Happy Birthday

Catch-up card.

I needed to make some masculine birthday cards. I think this passes. What do you think?

Sunflower, Happy Birthday

Catch-up card

This sunflower birthday card was made for one of my good friends. Two of her favorite things are: sunflowers and the color - lime green. She was so happy to see two of her favorite things and exactly what she was asking for on her birthday card! She loved it!

The middle of the sunflower is fuzzy as in the real thing. The leaves and sunflowers are also raised.
