Unusual Sunflowers

Hello my crafty friends,

This was a crafty weekend for me. Of course there's still more on my to-do craft list. There's always tomorrow... LOL

One of the first things I did was complete my April ATC. April theme was: RECYCLE. Well I decided to do  the only thing that kept sticking in my mind to do: I recycled the lint from my dryer after doing laundry! I won't even tell you what all that lint looked like in a ziplock bag (before I got to the point of using the lint)! OMGosh! LOL

Anyway as you can see, not much was really used but I covered the brown spots in the sunflowers with the lint. With all consideration, I think they turned out ok. What do you think?

Check back real soon - much more to come.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Rainy Days

What a fun-filled creative weekend! Friday night I finished my March ATCs.  March theme was: Rainy Days

What better way to show a rainy day than rain falling off an umbrella? I hope you can see the rain drops?  I curled the top portion of the umbrella inward to give it a more real look then popped them up a little with dimensionals.   I just love how this turned out! Don't you?

Check back soon and see what was happening on Saturday!

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Kitty Kisses

Friday night I started and completed February's ATC. The theme was "Kitty Kisses".

I couldn't locate my lips image quick enough so I did the next best thing - I put lipstick on and kissed my papers! LOL And what's lipstick without some gloss? So I added some Glossy Accents to them for the lip gloss. (Unfortunately it doesn't really show up on camera. SIGH) Now wasn't this clever!?  I then cut out a cute little kitty and popped her on. It didn't look complete, so I distressed the edges in grey to match the kitty.  (ILUC)

"STOP"

This is another set of ATC and was for the month of (last) November. The theme was: About You.

They looked so happy...SIGH till the "stop" happened.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

Candy

I'm wayyyyy behind on my ATCs (Artist Trading Cards). This set of cards were from last October and the theme was "Candy".

The 2 different types of candy canes were raised for dimension. I also added sparkling glitter to all of the candies.

Hope you like and thanks for looking!

ATC (Sports)

Catch-up card

This was my ATC submission for last December - "Sports". I popped the golf ball for a 3-D look.

ATC (Red)

Catch-up card

This was my ATC submission for last October. The theme was "Red". As soon as I know the theme, I knew what I wanted to do...RED HAIR! I looked everywhere for red hair. No one had any, but I was still determined - one way or another to do my red hair idea. What finally worked was DH's "expensive" red spray paint! Wasn't it sweet of him to volunteer it?

June ATC - "Music"

Here is my June submission for my monthly ATC swap. The theme is music.

I was able to use my new 1/2" circle punch, music stamps and symphony edger punch. And just in the nick of time: punches arrived yesterday and I had to make all 9 and mail them by this Friday so they'd have to be done by Thursday night. Whew!

The piano keys are popped slightly over the music ribbon; the single notes are also popped.

Now off to finish the other swap card - masculine theme - that's 3/4 done.

Hi Girlfriend!

I thought I would have this as my first blog picture.

I participate in a monthly ATC (Artist Trading Cards) swap with a group of talented ladies in OH. This was my submission of our Black & White theme for this past April.
